Celebrate Autumn’s vibrant beauty, crisp cool air, and the community of woodland trees, flowers, ferns, and other forest life as we experience the lovely trails of this special preserve together. Breathe in the season and find refreshment and renewal in the midst of the natural world. Whether you're an experienced hiker or simply looking for a peaceful way to enjoy the season, we’d love to have you join us for this colorful autumn adventure!
This guided walk will be lead by Becky Nystrom. Becky is a founding CWC board member, past CWC president and board chair, retired professor of biology, passionate conservationist, and lover of all things botanical. She greatly enjoys “woods-walking” and sharing the natural world with others.

A leisurely, guided hike at a comfortable pace

Light breaks along the trail to enjoy the scenery

Special Notes: This event is weather permitting. Please register or check back here for the most up to date information. Please dress for a meandering walk through the shaded forest including sturdy, closed-toe shoes suitable for uneven terrain. Long pants and sleeves are recommended. Some areas may be muddy or slippery. Pack a bottle of water, and binoculars or a camera if you’d like!
