Join Conservationist Carol Markham of Everwild Land Trust and Anna Pingitore of Choose Violets for an inspiring autumn exploration of native plant seeds and the art of preserving our local landscapes.
Celebrate the beauty of autumn by discovering the secrets of seed collection! Learn how to recognize mature seeds, understand their life cycles, explore the vital role native plants play in our ecosystems, and take home the knowledge to help create thriving habitats for pollinators and wildlife on your own backyard. This seasonal workshop offers a closer look at the connection between native plants, pollinators, and the natural world around us.

Special Notes: Please dress for the weather as we will be outdoors. Bring a small paper bag or envelope to collect and take home some native seeds, so you can continue the journey of growing and supporting local plants in your own garden.
